What People are Saying

We don’t advertise our wedding photography and instead rely on referrals, and to tell the truth have never paid much attention to The Knot. Yesterday, we received an award plaque from The Knot informing us we were voted one of the best photography studios in the DC area. We picked up their magazine “The Knot Best of Weddings 2009” and found that we received their highest rating from our brides and were one of only seven photographers in the DC area to achieve that rating. Not to shabby, and thanks to the Edge brides. Love you ladies! Here is The Knot’s verbiage to be polically correct. "We are proud to announce that The Edge Photography Studio has been rated by local brides and voted The Knot Best of Weddings 2008/2009 Pick. Please pick up a copy of The Knot Best of Weddings 2009 magazine and check out our listing." Dear Don and Ines, The album is stunning! Everyone we've showed thinks it's amazing! Thank you! James and Jacqui London, England Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device The Edge Photography has been one of the best discoveries in my life. All sorts of good things have happened since you photographed me – just wish you could hear all the compliments I get on your work. Thought you would enjoy the enclosed magazine – you are very much a part of the story. No only are you the Best Photography Team but such wonderful friends. Thank you and good luck!" by Cynthia Davis "The Edge Photography captured our day superbly. Everyone who views our album has said "I have never seen anything like it." Our album captures each moment and then some. I can still see the smiles and hear the voices with every photograph. Something you have to see to appreciate. It is a treasured keepsake. We recommend them to anyone and everyone for any occasion. You will not be disappointed." by Bryan & Gale Neuhaus "Very personable individuals. I love small businesses ... they take their time and love what they do! They are the best around, what can I say ;) We fell in love with them the moment we met them!!!" by Brook Sarver "very personal in their photography - very artistic" by c narbut "The Edge pictures are exceptionally creative, beautiful, and stimulating to view." by Alan Gross "Great pictures and great to work with. You could not even tell they were at the reception but they captured every moment." by Jason Fletcher "Besides great work and a creative eye when photographing a wedding they are great to work with." by Alicia "Very professional and easy to work with." by Carol Hamilton "They were totally hands on. They were with my daughter-in-law from the beginning to the end, including the engagement photo (they hiked them up to the mountains), pre-bridal shoot, rehearsal dinner and all day on the day of the wedding. They were so helpful in guiding all of us through what came next. They ended up being like family by the end of the reception. They even had tears in their eyes when my son had to tell his boys "goodbye". When we reviewed the photos, they had wine, cheese and grapes and it was just like meeting friends. Awesome people!! And the Bridal Book is to die for!!! Absolutely the best there is!" by Shirley Cox "These photographers were a delight to work with. They were very original in the presentation and set up of not only the shots they chose, but in the presentation of the album layout. They made the entire group feel 'special'. I especially enjoyed the viewing of the photo slide show including the wine & cheese, music, etc....the presentation WAS EXCELLENT!!! THE PHOTOS SUPERB!!! EVERYONE was treated as though they were SPECIAL....it WAS a very special day to those involved in the wedding.....but, it is just a job to the photographers. They made us feel like soooooo much more than just a job.......we love you...." by Sherry Anderson "Words can not even describe the "ART" that The Edge provides. I have never experienced such great customer service and professionalism from anyone before. They truly made my wedding day/experience a great one. They were there every step of the way (literally he even put in my veil the day of the wedding) and the memories I have now will last a lifetime. I have referred 2 of my closest friends to Don & Ines for their weddings and will continue to spread the word. I LOVE THEM!" by Cindy White "Uniqueness in approach and professional looking photos." by Patti Habiby "The Edge Photography pays close attention to detail and seems to bring forth in their work all that went into making the event special. Their choices in backdrops, colors and lighting draw your attention and your emotions to the subject. You can't take your eyes off their photos." by Art and Linda Winder "His photography has a unique outlook. Very interesting and eye catching." by Midge Harmon
